In partnership with Truesdell Elementary School, the TSU Alumni Metro DC Chapter serves as a Community Service Representative Member of the school’s Local School Advisory Team (LSAT).
On Friday, June 6, 2025, our alumni chapter volunteered to participate in Truesdell Elementary School’s Field Day. We joined students in a variety of field games and activities that were fun and engaging for everyone. The weather was warm and partly cloudy—perfect for a day of outdoor fun and fellowship.
This event provided an excellent opportunity for our members to connect with students, parents, and school staff in a positive and enjoyable community setting. We were delighted to work alongside the dedicated teachers and staff, who warmly welcomed us and expressed their sincere appreciation for our alumni support.
