At TSUNAA Washington DC Metro Chapter is to foster a strong community of TSU alumni, support initiatives that benefit TSU, provide scholarships, networking, and professional development opportunities for members in the DC metro area.

Our vision is to create a strong and supportive network of TSU alumni who are making a positive impact in their communities and professions, while continuing to uphold the values and traditions of our alma mater.

Who We Are

The Texas Southern University National Alumni Association Washington, DC Metropolitan Area Chapter is a network of proud alumni, supporters, and friends of Texas Southern University committed to strengthening connections among graduates in the Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia (DMV) region. The chapter brings together professionals, community leaders, students, and supporters who share a commitment to service, scholarship, and the advancement of TSU’s legacy.

What We Do

The chapter serves as an alumni engagement and community service organization focused on:

• Supporting Texas Southern University through fundraising and alumni engagement
• Promoting scholarships and educational opportunities
• Strengthening alumni relationships and networking opportunities
• Providing community service throughout the DMV region
• Preserving and celebrating the rich legacy, culture, and traditions of TSU and HBCUs
• The chapter actively participates in volunteer initiatives, educational outreach, mentorship, and community partnerships across the Washington metropolitan area.
